Desktop retro photography city calendar 2013

I must admit that since I received my i phone last spring I have been a bit mad about iphonography. I love all the apps that I can install and play with. I have been travelling quite a lot in the last few years both privately and professionally so I thought it would be ideal to use my travel photos for a 2013 calendar. I decided to import some of my travel photos to my i phone to play with using some of my apps. It was easy to import the photos to my i phone by using Dropbox. I then played with the photos using different apps like Filter Mania, PictureShow and Pixlomatic+. When I finished the i phone editing process  I added some text with quotes in Photoshop.

Colorful Burano

I will never forget how excited I was to photograph when I got the chance to visit the island Burano, I was visiting Venice and in a bookstore there I saw this beautiful book with photos from Burano so even though my time was limited I jumped on the next ferry to Burano, it was such a lovely, quiet and colorful village, I ran about for an hour or so until I had to take the ferry back taking photos of the most colorful village I had visitied. I made this mosaic in Photoshop for the Kim Klassens Beyond Layers class, during Colour Week.
